How To Carry Film Gear Onto An Airplane

By September 8, 2014July 11th, 2023No Comments

We’re sand proof, dirt resistant and water tight at Contract Cre8ive! Traveling with two 5D mkiii’s most of the time and a little slew of lenses meant finding a better solution for our travels in the air. The Pelican 1510 meets the maximum FAA carryon size and handles most of our gear for interviews minus our manfrotto tripods and light stands. Those conveniently go in a 60L hiking backpack and somehow counts as a carry on as well. Let’s just say Southwest is pretty great. And luckily we had Carly join us in Houston today, so she was able to carry our Litepanel 1×1 safely in a repurposed black bag from Hobby Lobby with ease.

The March of Dimes, Texas chapter has been great to us, and we’re excited we have been able to travel with them over the last couple of years.
